THB year review 2016

This year has come to an end. and what do I say its been a good year the chrome books have been ok i guess. This year has had a lot of things packed into it so here is a few, tree    planting, shantytown, camp, elgrego, swimming lessons, sailing, shantytown. This year I think i got really good and involved with my music because this is something a have a major passion with and I hope it can carry on.
Now The Chromebooks. I think that My Chromebook Has had no effect on my learning apart form my spelling it has had a negative impact on my spelling because when i spell a word wrong I just hit spell cheack and Then I am away with the right word but when I spell a word wrong on paper I stop and ask someone how to spell it and i take it in and remember. My classmates have been awesome funny and interesting it is good having awesome class mates because without them school would be SO BORING.
so I would like to thank all my classmates for making this year fun, interesting and just plan awesome. NOW TECHNOLOGY it was really fun But cooking was my favourite even if we only made things with pasta.
I think next year they should keep the Chromebooks but not use them as much as we do now like with math stay with pen and paper for maths.over all I think this year was an OK year and after a well deserved holiday I will be ready for another round merry Christmas
start of the year

Rad Rhythm Reflection.

For the past two weeks we have been doing a pots and pans course made by Rad Rhythm, were you bang pots and pans and make music or a rhythm.
First rad Rhythm gave us 3 lessons over the internet were we learnt important skills for making our own rhythm. It took one and a half weeks to make our own rhythm, it was hard at first but towards the end you get better ideas. I think for age it should be 8+ because its so tempting to hit those pans when people are talking.
My connection is I love to use instruments so this was really enjoyable for me and learning guitar this was really helpful so when I am playing guitar I will have WAY better knowledge of beats and rhythm.
I think the plus's were we got to do drumming which was really fun and being able to dress up in onesies  but it took along time and sometimes we were just not in the mood to play drums, but hey that just my opinion.
I really hope that our school grasps this opportunity and uses it to bring more music into our school because learning ukulele is fun but we need more things like some guitars or some drums and we have a piano. Because we got a grant for gardening grants so next year that could be one of our goals to get a music grant.
after all I have said I think this course was so fun and Rad Rhythm are doing so much cool stuff so all i have to say GO RAD RHYTHM

Company logo

In class we have a system called banqer it teachers kids how to handle money so when they grow up they know what to do when they are older. To get money we need to do jobs and so we made businesses our company is called SPACE CHIMPS. In our logo we needed a chimp because our company is called space chimps. we choose red because red is strength and power. that is our Logo.

st john first aid program

On Tuesday we had a first aid. We learnt how to  do CPR and we played a game. First we had two minutes to right down the things you would need two stay on a overnight tramp on a doc track then denise (the st john person) said problems then every time we used something to fix the problem we had to tick it off the list it turned out Joe had hypothermia and that's how we learnt about hypothermia. I think this is a  good program to show kids our age how to do CPR and see symptoms of hypothermia.

13-6-2016
Today we went for a walk  on the valenski track.
This was important because we are building a talking shed so we need to know about flora and fauna.
this was really fun because we don't have to be stuck inside.
I learnt That some plants taste really good and some not so much.

tecspace relection

we went to tech space we played with all of the toys  my thoughts were that they could have used the money on some better sensors on the inferred sensors instead on all of the ten  really expensive laptops that they have. other then that it was really good experience to learn about technology of of the future.
