Rad Rhythm Reflection.
For the past two weeks we have been doing a pots and pans course made by Rad Rhythm, were you bang pots and pans and make music or a rhythm.
First rad Rhythm gave us 3 lessons over the internet were we learnt important skills for making our own rhythm. It took one and a half weeks to make our own rhythm, it was hard at first but towards the end you get better ideas. I think for age it should be 8+ because its so tempting to hit those pans when people are talking.
My connection is I love to use instruments so this was really enjoyable for me and learning guitar this was really helpful so when I am playing guitar I will have WAY better knowledge of beats and rhythm.
I think the plus's were we got to do drumming which was really fun and being able to dress up in onesies but it took along time and sometimes we were just not in the mood to play drums, but hey that just my opinion.
I really hope that our school grasps this opportunity and uses it to bring more music into our school because learning ukulele is fun but we need more things like some guitars or some drums and we have a piano. Because we got a grant for gardening grants so next year that could be one of our goals to get a music grant.
after all I have said I think this course was so fun and Rad Rhythm are doing so much cool stuff so all i have to say GO RAD RHYTHM
