My weekend

On the weekend I went over to tyler's house On the first night we went into town to see the opening of the town square It was pretty cool watching the band play, that was really fun. But then came the christmas tree Tbh I think It looks like a rocketship about to take off and It looks a little stupid.. I dont want to be all debbie downer on it but couldn't they just walk into the bush and cut down a huge tree that would look better than it. anyway the next day we went to the christmas parade and the moana flout looked sooo good they had water guns as well and cameron spied me in the crowd and shot me down right in the face. after that we went to were they had the zorb balls and that was really fun.

My weekend

So it was camp and we got back on friday that day we went down to queens town so we arrived at queenstown at 10:00 after we left at about 3:30 We did it like champs no stops just keep on driving. when we got there I hit the mattress and slept like a log and woke up at 7 me and tasmin went into the main part of the house and watched some tv after that we went and had brekkie at a place, blah blah blah. the wedding so i had never been to a wedding before. like i did but i was 5 and i didnt really know what the heck was going on. so I just kind of went with the flow I dressed up with a tie and shirt and stuff and then we did the ceremony it went fast probably because it was ten minutes. but after that we took photos. Then the plan was to go to the heritage and PARTY but that started at 5:15 and it was like 3:30 so me and my older cuzzy went to this fancy icecream place. Being theo and a little bit of a grapefruit I choose chocolate when there were all these fancy ice cream flavours I chose chocolate. then It was the party which was by far by favorite we were all dancing and yea that was my weekend

My weekend

Well last weekend was pretty crazy On saturday it was a regular day but on sunday Man it was chaotic. So i will cut to the chase basicly sunday Horrible weather Pouring rain with  High winds and we thought we should kayak down the crooked river. so thats what we did It took a long time to get out of the river Anyway. We got out of the river to see a lake that had a lot i mean a lot Of white caps The WAVES WERE HUGE. no joke. so We got out to the islands in the middle of the lake. and then disaster struck dad and nikos canoe flipped. Canoe!! like and It filled Up with water and sunk below the surface anyway 150 meters off shore we were floating in the middle of the lake and with huge waves hitting us in the face. I was on the ocean kayak so i was dry Until dad told me to get out and swim back to sure. I was wearing long johns shorts rain jacket a polyester jersey. and luckily I had a life jacket So heres the problem so far. Tasmin and jaymee were In a canoe, so we were trapped on a island for 1 and a half hours. in the freezing cold

Persuasive writing (prescription medication)

Last term Our class has been Writing persuasive writing. I choose to write about the over usage of prescription medication. I choose to write about this subject after I heard a song about it. I feel that i did well Because I was able to captivate my audience and keep them captivated. I think that the way I spoke was also good for my audience so that they Sucked up all of the information.

I think my audience Learned A lot about my subject because it something that not many people talk about. Overall I feel that my speech was a good one 

My weekend

This week was a sporting weekend with Our  west coast games on saturday and sunday. So on saturday we Arrived at 2:25 and went into the club rooms were our Uniforms were hanging up and all laid out Just like the pros we had a our name printed and stuck above our uniform. Our warm up was fast and before I knew it we were running out of the tunnel People clapping all around us. Our names were called out from the speaker and the under twelves were there is well clapping In the first game I was on the bench which i was annoyed with myself because i reckon I could've done better But I came on And tackled HARD which meant the next day I came on in the starting line up and I was so Happy. and by the end of it we Won Both games

My weekend

On saturday It was the day of relaxation so we relaxed in the sun. but as we got bored we decided to go for a walk into the little pine forest we took some cool photos and we chucked pine cones at each other It was really fun we Jumped around for about 1 hour and then went back. The next day I set off to our west coast league training Where we had a game with the under 12s It was a good game and the end score was like 86-6.

My weekend

On friday our friend hamish came over to stay. We just chilled out that night and played some games. The next day we Did what all kids should we lighted a box on fire and jumped into the lake with it. after that we went home and got ready for league. We lost but our team played reasonably well. Unfortunately I hurt my groin with 10 minutes to go and I was really annoyed because it was our last game. That night we watched the all blacks vs australia Which was a great rugby match. On sunday we were straight out the door with west coast league training when we got back we just chilled out For the rest of the weekend.

On the weekend Me and my brother niko played league. It was under 14s vs under 13s I was in the under 13 team.We played really well and because riley wasn't there I was put out on the wing. and I played good out on the wing. The next day I went off to go West coast training which was fun after that we were going to go out onto the boat but the battery was flat so we just went down to the lake.

My Weekend

This weekend was boring. because I was sick. On saturday I woke Up and was like YES I FEEL GREAT. I ran up stairs and made breakfast. Then later on we Drove off to league I was Feeling Better then ever. I was ready to go I jumped out and walked over to the field But that's when disaster Struck. Started to run Up into our team to practise tackling. I felt sick. I Ran up again and felt worse. THIS CANT BE HAPPENING. I sucked it up and went on. but then had to stop. For this epic game I was sadly water boy. The next morning I watched the super rugby grand FINAL. were David havili got fliped onto his shoulders. It was a red card to Kwagga Smith. Then on saturday  we just chilled out.

My weekend

On The weekend I had west coast Trials. We played against the 14s Trials Team. It was a good game and I think I did ok. and have a shot to get into west coast. Then on sunday At 12 I went for a bike ride up the hill once I was high up I stopped and had lunch which was spaghetti I had brought with me a little gas cooker so I heated up my spaghetti. But there was one problem I brought no can opener!! for about half an hour I had the can open and it was really really good. After a got back I started to pack up the motor bikes for a motorbike ride. We Drove on the motor bikes up on this track on my 230 I had no handguards and branches whipped my knuckles which really hurt because It was cold we got back home at about 6:30 at night.

On the weekend My friend tylar came over. we had a lot of free time becuase league was called off which was sad because i really wanted to play. so we played our own game of league it was a fun game with tylar. for the rest of the day we mucked around the house and that night we watched the lions game and sonny bill got red carded??!! I was in fury! Then on sunday we played more league and then went to town for the movies and tamsin also had her variety show practise. It was really interesting because I hope to get into the variety show next year. That night we dropped tylar of at his house. and that was my weekend!

My weekend

This weekend was a Fun one, so I will start it from the top. On saturday we played league. we lost. But it was a great game we had moments of ABSOLUTE GLORY. and as always we had moments horrible tackling. That day i picked up the all blacks jersey. oh also we lost the league game by the way. That night me and niko were home alone because tasmin was in blenheim and dad and mum had to go to the hotel. So I made A Tomato based sauce with onions and sausages that was in the sauce base AND IT WAS REALLY GOOD. The next day We went down to the lake and drove the boat to a beach and had a cook up with the tosty pie machine which you stick into the fire so it gets really hot and cooks the sandwich. We  went home and chilled out so it was a great weekend.

This weekend My uncle peter came over for some work stuff and that night (friday night) we watched the rugby New zealand vs samoa. New zealand smashed samoa 78-0. Then on saturday We played League. Basicly WE GOT REKT, every body was not very fired up and I played Bad really bad basically stuck up poo creak with no paddle bad. Then on sunday we watched the america's cup. Later that day we loaded up the motorbikes and went off for a ride up maori gully road. We went up the hill and ate some chips.

My Weekend

On the weekend I played league. We lost big time but we got a lot out of that game My kicking and passing was good and so was my tackling overall I had a good game but not everybody did One of our wingers were nowhere to be seen when the Opposition came out there he was nowhere to be found. Anyway on sunday we worked around the house I cleaned the car and then after lunch we went to the hotel and grabbed some Wood. When we got home I pumped up a rugby world cup 2011 ball and started to learn a new Kicking strategy.

On this long weekend we were able to chill out so much. because it was the queen's birthday there was no league game. so at 2 instead of league i sat down and watched the rugby it was crusaders vs highlanders a huge game for the crusaders because they had not lost a game. 19-10 was the half time score with the crusaders with a good lead over the highlanders but at the 75 minute mark it was 19-22 to the highlanders. Then the highlanders THEN THEY LET A PENALTY THROUGH. and michael hunt GOT THE KICK!
the score was 22-22 and the siren sounded and it was now overtime. with 15 fazes white crockett told hunt JUST DO SOMETHING. so hunt lined up a 40m drop kick and it was OVER.

My weekend

In the weekend we Had our birthday party but we will get to that. First I need To talk about our league game We had a town and country game we got there at 1:15 and trained with waro-rakau. we did not win but it was a awesome game I got a great pass away to the winger and they scored. 

Later that day, my friends came over at around 5 and we went down and played Rugby. That night we lit fireworks and it was really fun, we roasted marshmallows and mucked around. The next day we were off to paintball we were all ready to get shot. We played capture the flag, once in the bush and the other one in a much more open bush with grass and flax bushes unlike the first one which was a lot more dense. Paintball was so much fun and we all enjoyed playing.

This weekend my Grandma came over from Chch! She came over on friday and for the rest of the day we talked and just chilled out. On saturday we played league and we lost. My kicking for ok but I hurt my ankle, So it was hard to run. But that is no excuse we all played bad. On sunday we Did jobs around the house and got some wood. That night we unwrapped our presents from our Grandma, because she wont be here for my real birthday. So that what my weekend was like!

This weekend was action packed it all started saturday afternoon when we went off to play league. we were versing suburbs this weekend and they are a hard side. any way our first half was not very good we let a lot of players through on our wing and quite a few drop balls. In our second half we scored a good try I did a out the back door to riley and he had a run away. We got a ride home with our friend hamish. on sunday we just cruised out and played at home.

On the weekend we played league we were versing cobden It started out well, I scored the first try and our team was looking forward to a possible win. But there was one problem, We had 10 players on the field and they had 13 players on the field, so they kept on scoring points out wide because we always had an overlap. at half time we were given 3 players from the other team to make the game fair and I have to say I think we won the second half. On sunday we got up at 5.00 am to go duck shooting. We Went up around landcorp and I got to use the side by side shotgun I did not get a duck Down but I did inguer one and tony robson finished him off.
