Hi Theo, I'm from the University of Auckland doing research on student-created Digital Learning Objects (DLO) and I have to say, your use of digital video technology to explain maths concepts is very innovative. You have explained composites and area calculation in a clear precise way, with clever use of annotation as focus points. Is there any way to caption or animate key words or concept words on your screen? I'm thinking like when you say area, or give the definition of composite, you could flash it on the screen so we remember it better i.e. can read it the same time we hear it so it increases our recall? For this creation I used educreations on an Ipad,So I can draw and put my voice over top of the pictures,which means I can explain with diagrams which make it easier for the viewer to understand.
